A thin strip 3 is colored in one color A over the whole longitudinal direction to make a one-color thin strip 1. The other color B is intermittently placed thereon along the longitudinal direction of the one-color thin strip 1 to make a two-color thin strip 2. A plurality of two-color thin strips 2 are woven using a weaving yarn 4. The weaving of the two-color thin strips 2 using the weaving yarn 4 is performed so to form a pattern M such as a checkered pattern, rectangular pattern or sagittal pattern. The coloring of the thin strip 3 in the one color A is performed using an oil paint, aqueous paint or dye. The coloring of the one-color thin strip 1 in the other color B is performed using an oil paint, aqueous paint or dye.
