Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fabricating a three-dimensional network structure material, which provides a hardly water-soluble aerogel having excellent characteristics such as low density, light weight, and mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A method for fabricating an aerogel comprises steps of: mixing 1 ammonium carboxymethyl cellulose with water or with water and a nanomaterial to form a corresponding first gel or second gel; freeze-drying 2 and thereby sublimating the first gel or the second gel to form a corresponding first product or second product; and curing 3 the first product or the second product through lower-temperature heating to form a corresponding first 3D network structure material or a second 3D network structure material. The present invention not only uses a simple fabrication process but uses water as a solvent, thereby not only having environmental protection and economical effect but enabling the fabricated first and second 3D network structure materials to absorb water and to hardly dissolve in water, allowing applications to many fields.
