To provide a method for producing bisphenol A in which other equipment than equipment in a granulation process is not necessary to be stopped even in a trouble in the glanulation process and the required time for the granulation process to restart a normal operation can be shortened, and to provide facilities thereof.
The method for producing bisphenol A comprising a reaction process, a low boiling components removing process, a concentration step, a crystallization and solid-liquid separation process, a heating and melting process, a phenol removing process and a granulation process, in which at least part of the bisphenol A discharged from the phenol removing process is transferred back to the concentration process according to a processing capacity of the glanulation process, and the facilities for producing bisphenol A are provided.
