Abstract:

To provide a scale removing facility and a scale removing method in which means other than a closer contact of a nozzle and higher pressure is used to more efficiently remove scale without increasing power required.

A scale removing facility 1 injects descaling water from a nozzle. The temperature of the descaling water fed to individual descaling headers 41, 51, and 61 is regulated in the range of 50°C or higher and 80°C or lower.
