Abstract:
To provide a method and facility for treating sewage, organic waste such as garbage, livestock excreta and a woody biomass compositely so that ammonia to be generated inevitably by treating organic waste can be treated autonomously within a system and energy and resources can be recovered efficiently.
This method for treating organic waste compositely including at least a methane fermentation step in an organic waste treatment process further includes an ammonia removal step to remove the ammonia contained in the treated liquid after the methane fermentation and a burning step to burn the woody biomass and generate a heat holding gas. The heat holding gas is used as an auxiliary heat source in the ammonia removal step.
