Abstract:

To meet the demand for downsizing a coil end as far as possible since the downsizing of a rotating electric machine is requested.

The coil end 80 covered with a net 90 for fairing and fixing is pressurized and heated by means of fairing molds 30 and 32 having specified mold forms in a condition that the net 90 for fairing and fixing impregnated with thermosetting resin is put on the coil end 80 of the stator 60 of the rotating electric machine. Consequently, in a condition that the coil end 80 is faired into a specified form, the thermosetting resin is cured, and the coil end 80 is faired and fixed.
