Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a woody feeling peculiar for natural wood by forming a damage stripe in one direction on the surface of a woody synthetic plate obtained by mixing cellulose comminuted material and thermoplastic resin molding material at a specific ratio, then coating it with colorant, then grinding it except a recess colored layer to form a pattern, and then printing a woodgrain pattern on the polished surface.
SOLUTION: A woody synthetic plate 11 is formed by mixing 20 to 65wt.% of cellulose comminuted material and 35 to 80wt.% of thermoplastic resin molding material, and damage stripes 15 are formed in one direction at least on one side surface of the plate 11. Then, after the surface formed with the stripes 15 is coated with colorant 17, and then the surface of the plate 11 is ground and polished except the recess colored layer to obtain a pattern 19. Then, a woodgrain pattern 21 is printed on the surface provided with the pattern 19 to obtain a synthetic plate having woody feeling peculiar for natural wood. As the plate 11, the plate obtained by slicing the thermoplastic resin molding material mixed with the comminuted material in the thickness of 0.2 to 50mm may be used.
