Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the reliability and treatment efficiency of finish treatment at the respective ends of a bundling self-adhesive tape for bundling long vegetables and fruits by hut-seaming.
CONSTITUTION: Bundled long vegetables and fruits 3 wherein long vegetables and fruits 3a such as asparagus are bundled by a bundling self-adhesive tape 18 according to a hut-seaming system are supplied to the rising end of an inclined guide plate 2 and fed toward the falling end 2b of the inclined guide plate 2 in a tumbling state while rotated in a peripheral direction by the rotation of a feed belt 6 and the self-adhesive surface of the extended terminal long piece part 18a of a connecting self-adhesive tape 18 is bonded to a bundled strip part. Further, the extended terminal long piece part 18a is wound in a falling state by the hanging plate 15 arranged to the position above the inclined guide plate 2 in a suspended state and, by further allowing the bundled long vegetables and fruits to tumble, the extended terminal long piece part 18a becoming a falling state is allowed to fall to be wound around the outer peripheral surface of the bundled one to be bonded by the self-adhesive surface to complete bundling treatment.
