PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fitting a hot-water and water combination faucet excellent in fitting workability, and the hot-water and water combination faucet.SOLUTION: A hot-water and water combination faucet includes a single lever 13 and a discharge pipe section 10 which are horizontally rotatable independently of each other, and is configured so that the mixture ratio of hot-water and water discharged from the discharge pipe section 10 is adjusted following rotation of the single lever 13 in the horizontal direction while the flow rate discharged from the discharge pipe section 10 is adjusted following rotation of the single lever 13 in the vertical direction. A click mechanism generating click feeling when the single lever 13 moves to a front position by rotation in the horizontal direction is provided in the hot-water and water combination faucet, and the hot-water and water combination faucet is fitted in a state that the single lever 13 is moved to the front position by relying on the click feeling.
