To provide a method for efficiently fitting to the chuck a common plastic slider, a slider of the type that the chuck is opened by spreading a flange of the chuck opening side equipped with a guide protrusion and a slider proposed by the inventor for a plastic chuck for closing (a first chuck) equipped with a protrusion or a second chuck on the opening side of the chuck and efficiently fitting a slider to a chuck with no flange at all on the opening side.
The method for fitting the slider to the plastic chuck comprises the following processes: first the outside guide of each of the sliders arranged in a specified direction and supplied by a slider supply device equipped with a slider position detecting part and a slider position turning part, is opened to the right/left and the slider is moved to a plastic chuck closing part; the outside guide is closed by the closing part and is arranged at a specified position wherein the outside guide properly functions as such; the slider is moved sliding to a specified position wherein the closing part and the opening part of the plastic chuck are located side by side; and an inside guide is arranged at a specified position wherein it properly functions as such by turning the inside guide in the opening part direction.
