PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixedly laying a tatami mat on a floor, which enables the thin tatami mat and the lightweight tatami mat to be firmly fixed to the floor, which enables the plurality of tatami mats of a plurality of colors and designs to be juxtaposed with ease, and which can be applied particularly to nursing care facilities.SOLUTION: Means for fixing a T-shaped fitting for fixation to a bottom surface of a tatami mat to a floor, and means for fixedly inserting a T-shaped fitting for fixation of a bottom surface of another tatami mat to the fixed tatami mat into the bottom of the tatami mat are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
