In fixing the end of a fiber rope, an inner metal piece and an outer metal piece are used, the fiber rope is inserted through the inner metal piece, the edge of the fiber rope protruding from the end of the inner metal piece is untwisted, and each untwisted strand is folded to be subjected to a swaging process by insertingly engaging the outer metal piece from the direction of the end of the inner metal piece.
