Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enlarge the diameter of a shaft and to fix a fan plate by inserting the fan plate at right angles to the shaft, boring a hole at the center of the shaft, and pressing a steel ball larger than the diameter of the hole in the hole. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum rotor hub 10 is pressed in a knurled portion 9 of a shaft 6, and the shaft 6 is fixed to a casing piece 14a to which a bearing support 2 and a bearing 13 are fixed to form a semimanufactured motor M1. Subsequently, with the semimanufactured motor M1 placed on a lower mold 5, the shaft 6 is inserted in the center hole 20 of a fan plate 2, and the fan plate 2 is placed on a horizontal support member 21. A hole is bored at the center of the shaft 6, and a steel ball larger than the diameter of the hole is pressed in the hole by a punch 22, whereby the outside diameter of the shaft 6 is enlarged to fix the fan plate 2.
