Abstract:

To provide a method of fixing wall thickness measurement sensors for enabling quick, easy, and accurate measurement of wall thickness of a pipeline.

A wall thickness measurement sensor fixing method is for fixing wall thickness measurement sensors 1 measuring wall thickness of a pipeline 11 in which a high temperature fluid 17 flows, to the pipeline 11. The method includes: applying a thermohardening coating material 12 entirely over an outer peripheral surface 11a of the pipeline 11 of which foundation is exposed; and before the thermohardening coating material 12 is completely dried, attaching each wall thickness measurement sensor 1 which is a film type having flexibility at a predetermined position of the pipeline 11 on which the thermohardening coating material 12 has been applied.
