Abstract:
PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the loss of HF by bringing gas contg. HF exhausted from a reactor into contact with a basic org. compd. as starting material to be fed to the reactor in a contact vessel. CONSTITUTION:A basic org. compd. contg. an O, S or N atom and having proton accepting ability and HF are fed to a reactor and the org. compd. is fluorinated. Gas exhausted from the reactor is brought into contact with said org. compd. to be fed to the reactor in a contact vessel cooled preferably to -60--10 deg.C and HF in the gas is allowed to react with the org. compd. and recovered. By this very simple method, the loss of HF can be remarkably reduced.
