Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a highly accurate aligning method and a therapy device for prostatic using the method. CONSTITUTION: A therapy beam generator 5 can be driven in three axial directions of three coordinate axes XYZ, and a probe 8 in rectum is movable in three axis directions parallel with axes (XYZ) and linked with an affected part support member. The first reference mark to interpret the probe 8 in rectum is in the same plane to the focus of the generator 5 and distant from the focus of the generator 5 by the distance (d) in the Y axis direction. Those two reference marks are aligned to align the focus of the therapy beam to the affected part.
