METHOD FOR FOLDING PANEL AND DIE FOR PRESS BRAKE USED TO ITS WORKING METHOD

PURPOSE: To prevent the buckling phenomenon of a panel by arranging a thrust member which freely penetrates a polygonal hole part on the panel at the one side of the upper and the lower metals, provides a bending die so as to be freely rotated and arranges the tip part thereof so as to be freely engaged/detached to the other die.
CONSTITUTION: The lengths of the thrust member 27 and the bending die 33 are set corresponding to the side of the hole part of a work W. An upper die 3 and a lower die 7 are separated and the thrust member 27 is held to horizontal state and a back gage 9 is positioned, and the work W is laid on a first plate holder 13. The thrust member 27 is vertically positioned by working a cylinder 19 to pass through the hole part of the work W. The work W is pressed to the first plate holder 13 with a second plate holder 39 by moving a movable side table to engage the upper end of the thrust member 27 with an engaging groove 43 on the upper die. The first plate holder 13 is relatively descended to a die base 11 and a part of the work W on the bending die 33 is bent to upward and downward. When the upper part of the groove 13G of the first plate holder 13 abuts on the lower part of the bending die 33, the bending die 33 is turned to execute the over-bending.
