Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a thin panel material having strength by mixing a phenol resin, methyl cellulose and a water reducing agent with a fundamental compound consisting of cement, a silica powder and fine powdery silica in specific amounts and shaping the resulting mixture by a molding roller and a slipper to subject the shaped one to primary ageing and autoclave ageing in succession.
CONSTITUTION: 10-14 pts.wt. of a phenol resin, 0.8-1.2 pts.wt. of methyl cellulose, 1.5 pts.wt. of cement of a water reducing agent and 4-6 pts.wt. of water are added to a fundamental compound consisting of 25-35 pts.wt. of cement, 2-35 pts.wt. of a silica powder and 35-45 pts.wt. of fine powdery silica to be uniformly mixed therewith and the obtained mixed material is supplied to a pallet conveyor to be shaped into a product shape by a molding roller and a slipper and the shaped body is temporarily aged and subsequently subjected to autoclave ageing for 7hr or more under a condition of 170-190°C×8.5-10 atm. This compounded material is allowed to fall on a feed conveyor 4 while stirred by the agitator in a material hopper to reach a slipper 8 through a pallet conveyor 5, a chute 6 and a molding roll 7.
