PURPOSE: To obtain the subject coating for heat resistant insulated wires, etc., free from occurrence of crack and powdery separation, by dissolving or dispersing an Al-dialkoxide acetoacetic acid ester and a cyclic Al oxide salt in an organic solvent, coating on a base material and baking it.
CONSTITUTION: (A) One or more of compounds belonging to an aluminum compound group (e.g. Al-di-n-butoxy-monoethyl acetoacetate, etc.) expressed by the formula I (R1 is 1-20C hydrocarbon; R2 is methyl or ethyl) and (B) one or more of compounds belonging to an aluminum compound group (e.g. aluminum oxide octoate, etc.) expressed by the formula II (R3 is 1-20C hydrocarbon) are dissolved or dispersed in an organic solvent (e.g. naphtha, etc.) to prepare a solution, which is coated on a base material (e.g. stainless steel plate, etc.) and baked at 400°C for 5 minutes to form the objective ceramic coated film consisting essentially of aluminum oxide and free from occurrence of crack and powdery separation.
