Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a compression amount at a corner part when a tooth form is formed, to prevent the swollen part caused by an excess thickness from being generated on the bottom surface of base metal and to eliminate the need for a stage to remove the swollen part.
CONSTITUTION: When a metal plate is draw-formed to a cup shape base material W, an inward recessed part Wc is formed at the part agreeing with a tooth groove forming place of a corner part between the circumferential wall Wa of the base material and the bottom wall Wb thereof. Then, the base material W is put on a die 7 having tooth groove 7a on the outer circumferential surface, a punch 8 is advanced inward in the radial direction, the circumferential wall Wa of the base material is pushed in including a recessed part Wc by this punch 8 into a tooth groove 7a and the tooth form is press-formed on the circumferential wall Wa over the corner part.
