Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a drainage ditch in drainable pavement construction work that can considerably reduce the work for forming the drainage ditch and form the drainage ditch without forming a large unevenness at the bottom part of the drainage ditch.
SOLUTION: This method of forming the ditch is provided for forming the drainage ditch DG in a base pavement BP of impermeable pavement P1 in the work of changing a road with the impermeable pavement P1 having a surface pavement SP and the base pavement BP, into a road with drainable pavement P2. A rotary plate 10 having a plurality of protrusive members 11 on the outer peripheral surface is rotated by a rotating shaft 14 perpendicular to the travel direction of the road, and the outer peripheral surface of the rotary plate 10 in the rotated state is brought into contact with the base pavement BP of the impermeable pavement P1 to move the rotary plate 10 along the travel direction of the road. The ditch forming work can be considerably reduced, and the construction cost can be reduced. Furthermore, the drainage ditch DG can be formed without forming a large unevenness at the bottom part of the drainage ditch DG.
