PURPOSE: To provide a high quality product free from play by simultaneous forming of a long and narrow wedge-shaped base reduced toward the front from the rear extending a strut and a broad pedestal having a section to have the base fitted thereinto matching the shape of the base.

CONSTITUTION: A base 5 of a fan stand in which a strut 6 is extended at the top rear while a switch and a tire 8 are mounted to the front is formed into such a shape of a wedge as to be reduced toward the front from the rear. A retaining concave section 9 is formed at the tip of the top while a flange 10 having a hook- shaped cross-section is formed at the top side end. On the other hand, a broad pedestal is formed having a section 12 to have the base 5 fitted thereinto matching the shape of the base. A groove 14 is formed in such a manner as to receive the fitting of a convex section 13 and a hook-shaped flange section 10 to be engaged with the concave section. In forming such a stand, cavities 20 and 21 for forming the base 5 and the pedestal 11 are formed into a single cavity block 24 to facilitate the forming.
