Abstract:

To provide a method for forming a HVOF spray coating layer, capable of readily and efficiently forming an undercoating layer or a corrosion-resistant coating layer while ensuring sufficient adhesion when forming the coating layer on a turbine member by using HVOF thermal spraying method, and an apparatus for holding the turbine member.

The apparatus 10 for holding the turbine member is used when forming the coating layer on the turbine member 1 having a blade 2 by the HVOF thermal spraying method and comprises: a base 20 having a holding means 22 for holding the turbine member 1; and a turntable 11 that can be connected at a relative position with respect to the base 20. The holding means 22 is equipped with: a first supporting member 23 that supports one side of the turbine member 1; a second supporting member 26 that supports the other side; and a third supporting member 29 that holds the turbine member 1 at a prescribed position with respect to the inserting direction of the blade 2.
