To provide a laminated pearl coating film excellent in transparent appearance by controlling yellowing, which occurs in a coating film containing a mica pigment, when seen from a shade position by using silica flakes coated with titanium dioxide.
In a method for forming the laminated pearl coating film which includes a process in which a color base coating film is formed on a base material on which an under coat film and an intermediate coat film are formed, a process in which a mica base coating film is formed on the color base coating film, and a clear coating film is formed on the mica base coating film without curing the mica base coating film, and a process in which the mica-base coating film and the clear coating film are cured by heating, the brightness of the color base coating film is 20-60 in L-value, and the mica base coating which forms the mica base coating film contains 1-10% of pigment concentration (PWC) of the silica flakes coated with titanium dioxide.
