The method for forming the molding surface of the mold includes a process for fixing a sheet 1, which has a recessed part 3 formed thereto corresponding to the recessed part formed to the surface of a molded article, to the molding surface 12 of the mold 10, a process for supplying a resin 14 for forming the mold not melted by a molded article material into the recessed part 3 of the sheet 1, a process for fixing the resin 14 for forming the mold to the molding surface 12 of the mold 10 and a process for removing the sheet 1 from the molding surface 12 of the mold 10. Further, the protruded part corresponding to the recessed part formed to the surface of the molded article is formed to the molding surface of the mold 10 from the resin for forming the mold not melted by the molded article material.
