Abstract:
To provide a method for forming a patterned coating film with a good feeling of depth.
Colored base coating A is applied on a substrate and heat-cured, and clear coating B is applied and heat-cured, or the colored base coating A is applied, with its coating film uncured, the clear coating B is applied, after both coating films being heat-cured, a scratched pattern is formed on the surface of the cured coating film of the clear coating B, and clear coating C is applied on the surface of the patterned coating film and heat-cured. In this process, the difference between the refractive index of the cured coating film of the clear coating B and that of the clear coating C is made 0.02 or more.
