Abstract:
To quickly carry out positioning of a flange member and a pipe when a flange is formed on the pipe to be joined.
Forming of the pipe flange is carried out so that a flange member 1 having bolt holes opened at a predetermined pitch on a circle is fitted to an end part of a horizontally arranged pipe 9, alignment screws 20 are inserted into a pair of bolt holes 3, 5 among the bolt holes respectively, after that, a spirit level 33 is put on the side faces of the heads of the alignment screws 20, the flange member 1 is turned until the spirit level 33 shows a horizontal state, and after the bubble of the spirit level 33 has shown the horizontal state, the flange member 1 is fixed to the pipe 9.
