Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a recessed zone forming method which forms a recessed zone on a thick metallic plate by using only a cold pressing work without the deformation of the other part.
CONSTITUTION: Four linear through holes 7,7,7 and 7 are provided on four sides of the recessed zone of the thick metallic plate 6 by press-working respectively and appropriate numbers of round holes 8 are provided on the inside of the through holes, then the recessed zone 9 is formed by breaking the through holes forming part by the pressing work.
