Abstract:
To provide a method of forming a molding suitable for manufacture of rubber crawlers having high uniformity.
The method is based on forming a molding for rubber crawlers by winding an inner rubber sheet 2 constituting the tumbling surface of the roller, at least one reinforcing layer and an outer rubber sheet 3 constituting the ground plane, in order, about the outer surface of a cylindrical drum 1. As the outer rubber sheet 3, a rubber sheet tapered by laying facing surfaces of the rubber sheet of at least one round from the winding initiation area L1 to the winding termination area L2 with respect to the cylindrical drum 1 gradually in proximity of the front end to that of the back end is employed.
