Abstract:
PURPOSE: To relate to the ultra-fine particle film effective for preventing static electrification and for preventing the reflection of visible light, especially to form the ultra-fine particle film capable of being applied to large areas at low costs and form the image-displaying plate such as a cathode-ray tube subjected to the application of the ultra-fine particle film by a simple method.
CONSTITUTION: The method for forming the ultra-fine particle film comprises attaching a coating solution tank 22 to the surface of a cathode-ray tube 21, filling the tank with a coating solution 23 containing SnO2 ultra-fine particles used for preventing static electrification, covering the surface of the cathode-ray tube 21 with the coating solution, exposing the covered surface at a prescribed rate to form a conductive film, and subsequently performing the same operation using a coating solution containing ultra-fine particles used for preventing the reflection of visible light to form a visible light reflection-preventing film thereon.
