Title:
METHOD FOR FRP LINING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004181934
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for FRP lining which is aimed at protecting a tank or the like made of concrete that is regarded as necessitating corrosion resistance and waterproofness and which uses a short-wavelength photosetting prepreg sheet.

In this method for FRP lining, a fiber reinforcement is impregnated with a resin composition containing (A) a radical polymerizable resin such as an unsaturated polyester resin : 100 pts.wt., (B) two or more kinds of photopolymerization initiators obtained by combining a photopolymerization initiator being photosensitive in the region of a wavelength of 500 nm or above with a photopolymerization initiator photosensitive in the region below 500 nm : 0.01-10 pts.wt. and (C) a filler : 100 pts.wt. or below. Thereby a part of a radical polymerizable unsaturated group in the composition is preliminarily polymerized to be put in a B-stage and made a photosetting prepreg sheet. Then, the prepreg sheet is stuck on the ground which is prepared on the surface of concrete from a water emulsion resin primer and further coated with the primer, and the end part of the prepreg sheet and a gap between the prepreg sheets are sealed with a photosetting/thermosetting resin.
