Abstract:
To provide a method for polymerizing an olefin wherein an olefin polymer can be manufactured by gas-phase polymerization continuously, stably for a long time period and in an industrially reasonable way.
This olefin polymerization method is characterized in polymerizing an olefin in a gas phase in the presence of a metallocene-type solid catalyst component wherein the CO content in the polymerizer is controlled in a specific range.
