Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copied instruction which reduces the length of an instruction sequence.
SOLUTION: A computer instruction for generating a data string composed only of a plurality of copied bit sequences by copying bit sequences is provided. This computer instruction is executed by means of a register storage device which can be addressed by means of the computer instruction by using a single address. The computer instruction is useful in connection to a pack operation instruction when it is required to arithmetically or logically couple each set of an object with a common object.
