Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely generate a gaseous nitrogen oxide from a liquid nitrogen oxide.SOLUTION: The method for generating a gaseous nitrogen oxide comprises: a step of storing a liquid nitrogen oxide into a sealable vessel (1); a step of pressurizing the liquid nitrogen oxide from the vessel (1) and feeding the same to an injector (2); and a step of injecting or spraying the liquid nitrogen oxide on vaporization spaces (3, 3') under substantially the atmospheric pressure, causing evacuation in the vaporization spaces (3, 3') to the saturated vapor pressure curve of the nitrogen oxide or lower, and also causing vaporization, thus a gaseous nitrogen oxide is generated from the liquid nitrogen oxide.
