Abstract:
To provide a method in which various energy including hydrogen can be obtained with high energy conversion efficiency by an easily controlled method using a raw material which is easily handled and is highly safe.
The method for generating hydrogen is characterized in that anode reaction including oxidation reaction of a hydride ion in a solution containing an ionic hydride and a hydroxide and cathode reaction including hydrogen-generating reaction are allowed to occur spontaneously through a cation-exchange electrolyte membrane.
