Abstract:
To enable a user to directly read a portion of an original document linked to a selectable element or other document by generating a thumbnail equipped with the selectable element.
The thumbnail is generated, by generating a thumbnail of an original document, generating at least one selectable element, and associating at least one selectable element with the thumbnail in a display of the thumbnail. By selecting one of the selectable elements in the thumbnail, the document or document portion linked to the selectable element can be accessed directly.
