Title:
METHOD OF GROUND EXCAVATION CONSTRUCTION IN COFFERING SHEET PILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10168915
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method of ground excavation construction, in which the quantity of horizontal displacement in a coffering sheet pile can be inhibited to the minimum by simple structure while the efficiency of the execution of works can be improved.

A specified region is coffered temporarily in a watertight manner by steel-pipe sheet piles 10. The head sections 10' of each steel-pipe sheet pile 10 are connected rigidly and constrained by reinforced concrete 11. An excavation predetermined ground 1' in a water bottom is underwater-excavated, and bottom concrete 12 is placed, and coffering sheet piles are also restrained by bottom concrete 12 from a section in the vicinity of a final excavation ground. Beforehand assembled timbering members 13 are constructed collectively in water in a cofferdam, and a specified structure is built in the cofferdam.
