Abstract:
To provide a method for growing rice by which a rice farming operation is improved by omitting a raking operation, and a seedling is healthily grown while eliminating the problems of bird injury and weeds.
Water is fed by setting the water level so as to be within the range of 0-30 cm under the surface of a paddy field after tilling the paddy field, and the previously germinated and grown seedlings of the rice are transplanted in the holes formed in the paddy field so as to form distances between the seedling and the soil at the vicinity. The water is fed at 1-7 days after the transplantation of the seedlings while setting the water level within 10-30 cm range above the surface of the paddy field.
