Abstract:
To provide a highly efficient heat-treating method and its heat-treating facility with which raising speed of temperature in a thick steel plate is improved and uniformity of the temperature thereof can sufficiently be secured.
In the method for heat-treating the thick steel plate 1, a heat- holding furnace 3 is disposed on the same line as that of a solenoid type induction heating apparatus 2 and approaching to this solenoid type induction heating apparatus 2, and the heat-treatment of the thick steel plate 1 is performed by continuously passing the thick steel plate 1 through the solenoid type induction heating apparatus 2 and the heat-holding furnace 3.
