Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve a drying efficiency of inner lined refractories and reduce an amount of remained moisture by a method wherein in the case that refractories lined at a closed container of an iron structure having no vapor holes therein are heated and dried, water vapor is forcedly sucked through suction holes formed at an iron plate of a bottom part of the closed container and then the refractories are heated and dried.
CONSTITUTION: Mg-O bricks 2 are applied to an upper side wall as a lining material, alumina-spinel casting materials 3 are applied to a lower side wall and high-alumina bricks 4 are applied to a laying part, respectively and a casing structure is constructed such that a pressor for pressing an iron plate 1 is welded. In turn, permanent linings comprise a double-layer structure including high-alumina bricks 4 and thermal insulation bricks 5. The iron plate 2 at the bottom part is formed with suction holes in advance and water vapor, in particular, water vapor at a rear surface is forcedly sucked by a vacuum pump through the suction holes during heating and drying operations. With such an arrangement as above, a drying efficiency of the inner lined refractories of the closed container can be improved and an amount of residual moisture can be reduced.
