Title:
METHOD FOR HIGH-FREQUENCY INDUCTION HARDENING OF PART WITH END SURFACE TO BE HARDENED
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013209712
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To perform high-frequency induction hardening to the end surface of a machine part such as a clutch hub while preventing occurrence of stress by a method free from restrictions on practice.
Hardening of an end surface of a machine part, where the administration of the inside and outside diameters is required, is performed through a first step of heating one end surface of the machine part at a surface temperature of 400°C-700°C and cooling it, and a second step of high-frequency induction heating the other end surface being the side opposite to the end surface of the machine part heated in the first step.
