To provide a technique of holding an external screw capable of holding the external screw such as a terminal screw not to come out of a through-hole of fittings, with relatively small working force.
A columnar through hole 12h is installed in holding fittings 12 rotatably holding the terminal screw 11 which is the external screw, a circular V-shaped groove Gb is formed along the edge of an opening Kd of the through-hole 12h. In the holding fittings 12, after the terminal screw 11 is inserted into the through-hole 12h so that an end ring 114 of the terminal screw 11 comes out of the opening Kd through the inside of the through-hole 12h, by inserting the tip 20a of a crimping punch 20 into the groove Gb, working is performed so that a portion 12j interposed between the groove Gb and the through-hole 12h is inclined in the direction Ft facing the central part of the opening Kd. Since the end ring 114 can not pass through the opening Kd, the terminal screw 11 can be held not to come out of the through-hole 12h, with relatively small working force.
