Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-stamping method for manufacturing components for automobiles, airplanes and the like having high-strength using a magnesium alloy plate.SOLUTION: A method for hot-stamping a magnesium alloy plate includes: a step where an aging precipitation hardening magnesium alloy is pressed into a component form after being subjected to solid solution heat treatment; and a step where the magnesium alloy is hardened by being brought into contact with a mold and then is subjected to aging heat treatment to form a magnesium member having a further high-strength.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
