Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a hydrorefining method by which a thermal cracking oil can be processed in a larger amount, the catalytic activity is prevented from deteriorating, and a gas oil fraction can be deeply desulfurized or highly denitrified.
CONSTITUTION: This method comprises hydrorefining a gas oil fraction containing a thermal cracking oil obtained by the thermal cracking of a heavy oil and specifically having a straight-run gas oil fraction to thermal cracking oil ratio of (95:5) to (20:80) by volume, the gas oil fraction containing 5-45vol.% catalytic cracking oil.
