Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively impart better hygroscopic performance than that of cotton to polyamide fiber.
CONSTITUTION: Polyamide fiber is irradiated with electron beams and an aqueous solution of acrylic or methacrylic acid is then applied thereto. In the process, the aforementioned aqueous solution is applied without removing dissolved oxygen from the aqueous solution to carry out graft polymerization.
