Title:
METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING COMPOUND SUPPRESSING NEOPLASTIC LESION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3234818
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress to a minimum a COX(cyclooxydase) inhibition and side effects related to the other aspecific interaction and identify a compound that can cure and prevent oncosis, including a precancerous lesion by measuring a COX-inhibiting activity of the compound, measuring a PDE 5-inhibiting activity of the compound and measuring whether or not the compound generates an apoptosis in a neoplastic cell.
SOLUTION: A neoplastic cell is processed with the use of a compound to be evaluated, which has a concentration in the range of approximately 200 μm-200 pM. An amount of cGMP between cells of the processed cell is measured, and an amount of cAMP between cells of the processed cell is measured, so that a cGMAP specific PDE-inhibiting activity of the compound is measured. The compound in which a cGMP/cAMP ratio of a neoplastic cell is not processed is increased by three times or more compared to the cGMP/cAMP ratio of the processed cell has the cGMP specific PDE-inhibiting activity and has a potential efficiency for curing an oncosis.
