PURPOSE: To carry out suspension firing in a combustion chamber of the waste materials such as sewage having a high moisture rate, stained lees and combustion ashes.
CONSTITUTION: Blocks of waste material 2 such as sewage having a high moisture rate are passed through a hopper 3, a supplying device 4 and a shoot 5 and fed into a dispersion drying container 1. In turn, gas 10 of high temperature is injected upwardly into the container 1 through a duct 11, an air box 9 and a dispersion plate 8, thereby a fluidizing region 12 for effectively dispersing, finely dividing and drying the blocks of waste material 2 is formed. Mixtures of the particles of waste material and gas are fed into a combustion chamber 6 through a pipe 7 and ignited while they are being floated. It is also possible to arrange a classification device for classifying sizes of particles of waste material supplied to the combustion chamber 6 at an upper location within the container 1.
