To provide a method for image representation in medical imaging capable of automatically converting a range of contract of an obtained image in a simple way, and obtaining an optimum result for an operator for a number of image types.
In this image representation in medical imaging by converting the image data including the range of a first range of contract obtained from medical imaging measurement, into the image data including a second range of contrast, and representing the image data on a medium from the second range of contrast, an image class is automatically determined from a predetermined group of different image classes on the basis of the image obtained from the image data based on the imaging measurement and/or the additional information on the measurement, and the conversion is executed with a parameter assigned to the image class.
