In a plurality of steps of imaging, at least a part of image dots by one of the subsets 30, 32 is positioned between image dots of partial lines produced in a temporally preceding imaging step. Then image dots of the first subset 30 are positioned between the image dots of the second partial line and along the line produced in a temporally preceding imaging step.
