Title:
METHOD FOR IMPARTING LUBRICITY TO SURFACE OF SUBSTRATE AND SUBSTRATE HAVING LUBRICATING SURFACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009040802
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for imparting lubricity not only to a conventionally well-known aluminum-based or magnesium-based substrate but also to the case of a prescribed range of a metal or a metal oxide as the substrate, by paying attention to a technique of imparting the lubricity by a surface treatment of the substrate itself not by the improvement of a lubricating composition, and to provide a sliding part produced by the method.

The method for imparting lubricity to the surface of the substrate comprises coating the surface of a mechanical, an electrical or an electronic part and a structure (hereinafter referred to as the substrate) requiring the lubricity with a lubricity imparting mixture comprising A: a molybdenum sulfide selected from the group of ammonium tetrathiomolybdate, molybdenum disulfide, MoDTC (a molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate) or MoDTP (a molybdenum dialkyldithiophosphate) and B: a zinc-containing compound selected from the group of zinc sulfide, zinc oxide and a zinc dialkyl phosphate and a zinc dithio dialkali phosphate and forming a lubricating coated film. Furthermore, the resultant substrate is also provided.
